they travel in packs
from their place of dwelling
to their next meal.
they eat at the air
with their toxic smell.
they grind on the earth
to carry their masters.
these living creatures
born of the earth
only live to eat away
at its mother
soon to die away
to become one more
burden to bare.
their existence
destroys the means
of our survival
yet we experiment
to create the most
beautiful and
most powerful
earth
eating
machine.

I think this one may be my favorite. it doesn't have much of a break in the flow, but in this instance I think it really works for it. Love the comparison of maching being something born. it has a great message.
