I'm Hungry

the lame

souls struggle up the ladder

the lame souls of poverty

injustice and hate.

they scrounge for food

only to get a boot in the ass

and a “I’ll see you again tomorrow.”

they try to gain respect

only to find

a doctor’s bill and a

black suited lawyer.

their ignorance only draws them

further down

to the path of repetition

again,

again, and

again.

I like this one, especially the end where you say they're on a path of repetition then you repeat yourself. definately a "good" image overall. the first four lines seem like they might be missing some punctuation...the flow just seems rough like the they run together. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for.
